NIJ 0101.06 Certificated Level III STA Side Plates
Newtech Level III side rifle plates are lightweight starting at 1.43 lbs (6×6). This armor has been tested to NIJ 0101.06 protocol. Newtech Armor is engineered with the highest grade of ballistic materials: ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) bound with SiC(ceramic) chip to make it a hard stand-alone armor system.This plate is tested at muzzle velocity, mitigates spall and deflection.
