WHAT IS A TACTICAL HELMET?

Tactical helmets, also known as ballistic helmets or bulletproof helmets, are designed to provide protection in combat situations.

Helmets are one of the oldest types of body armor, dating back to the 23rd century BC when they were worn in wars and combat. Hundreds of innovations and re-designs have gone into their evolution to what a tactical helmet is today as they are one of the most important pieces of personal protective equipment available and are utilized by law enforcement, the military, and even civilians all around the world. Modern tactical helmets can also be used with countless interchangeable devices, including night vision optics, cameras, lights, audio equipment and communication devices, and more.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT FIT SIZE?

To have the ideal fit, you need to choose the best type with the correct helmet size. It will boost your performance and will also increase your safety. Here is a step-by-step guideline that you can follow to know what helmet size is correct for you.

1.Sit in an upright position.

2.Have your comrade measure your head length. Let your comrade start in the middle of the brows to the back of your head. You can use a caliper (preferred) or a tape measure. Record the measurements.

3.The next step is to determine the measurement of your head width. Do it by getting the widest length between the left and right side of the skull. Let your comrade position the caliper or tape measure just above your ears. Again, do not forget to record your measurements.

4.Now, get your maximum head circumference and record the measurement. Remember that you are sitting in an upright position. It is best to take the measurement just above the bony brow ridges while passing the tape measure just above the ears.

5.You can check with us on the best recommendation of helmet size based on your measurements.
